How to choose a supplier?
Nowadays, the importance of choosing the best supplier that satisfy our needs, is greater than ever. In order to fulfil the customers, companies have to organize their internal structure, arrange on-time shipments, be able to dispatch orders. But this is not enough; a customer expects his direct supplier to provide all these services. That is the reason why certifications, to prove one’s core competencies, are a great part of the competitive advantage.
One of the most important quality management certifications is the ISO 9001:2000. Companies which have this certification, have passed internal and external auditing. The external auditing is performed by an external certification body; the task of the internal auditing is to enhance risk management, governance and internal marketing. It is important to point out that ISO 9001:2000 does not guarantee the final product, which depends on many aspects, different from each other.
